A visit to Parliament House offers you the chance to be a part of democracy in action. Parliament House offers a variety of ways to experience the Parliament. These include access to the Chambers to watch Question Time and the ability to view historic documents like Magna Carta. In addition to these services Parliament House offers a dynamic experience just by visiting the building. Public tours within Parliament House are free of charge and take place at 10.00am, 1.00pm and 3.00pm, seven days a week. During non-sitting periods guided tours run for 45 minutes and for 30 minutes during sitting periods. Guided tour numbers are limited and are provided on a first-come first-served basis. School tours of Parliament House are available to all Australian Primary and Secondary schools.
