This festival acknowledges the contribution made to the area by the early Chinese gold miners and Nundle’s goldrush heritage as well as providing great family fun in the beautiful atmosphere of this historic village.

A variety of events are held over the two days of the festival, including a wide range of food, produce and craft stalls, interactive gold panning activities, live music, children’s variety shows, static displays by the Rural Fire Service and State Emergency Service, quilt displays, fossil, gem and mineral displays, entertainment by a leading professional Chinese dance and acrobatics troupe and much more!

The Nundle Chinese Go for Gold Festival is held every Easter, providing two days of family fun and festivities within the village of Nundle.
