Australia Day at Nundle starts at 8am at Nundle Public School with breakfast cooked by Nundle and District Lions Club followed by a ceremony featuring the Australia Day Ambassador and Australia Day Awards including Citizen of the Year, Community Organisation/Event, Junior Sport and Community Appreciation.

The old fashioned hand shearing demonstration is always a hit as part of the Nundle Australia Day Program, as well as the Trivia Competition, Bush Band and Children’s Activities (Treasure Hunt, Play Doh Modelling, and Best Australia Themed Hat).

Later in the day the sense of occasion continues with two Celebrate Heritage and Culture shows for Australia Day at The DAG Sheep Station. (see website link below for program and pricing).
