Girls of 5 to 18 years have fun and learn skills that develop their self-confidence and community responsibility. 
Guides meet weekly during the school term. 
At meetings girls work in small groups, play games, progress through challenges, earn badges and run their own activities

Guides is a Not for Profit Organisation so the total cost is as low as it can be.

There is an annual membership fee which includes insurance for the member.  Units will also levy small fees by the week or term to cover insurance for the hall and other minor costs.

New girls have two weeks to decide whether they want to stay or not before fees are due.

Guides also fundraise (e.g. through biscuit drives) to raise money to  help with other costs such as training and the maintenance of their facilities and equipment.
