BUILDING CONFIDENT KIDS AND TEENS THROUGH PERFORMANCE
Applause Musical Theatre Academy currently runs weekly classes on five afternoons in five North Shore locations. The classes are a “one-stop-performing arts-shop” where the students learn to SING, DANCE and ACT scenes and songs from traditional and modern musicals. Drama skills are also taught through fun acting exercises and games.
The classes aim to develop in its students a love of music and theatre, while providing them with the opportunity to gain confidence improvising, storytelling and performing! Every student gets his/her opportunity to shine at the end of year soiree by having at least one singing/acting solo if he/she wishes. There are other performance opportunities throughout the year as well as specialist workshops, and holiday workshops in Winter and Summer.
All our teachers are music theatre professionals and live piano accompaniment is standard.

HOLIDAY WORKSHOP
Applause Musical Theatre Academy is holding 2-day and 3-day holiday workshops for students from Kindy to Year 12. Learn the art of performing in a musical, with vocal, dance and drama activities run by an accomplished pianist and professional musical theatre performer. During the workshop, children will do vocal and dance warm-ups, drama activities and games, script-work (from Years 3 upwards), learn how to sing and dance/move to songs from a fun musical and perform for the parents at the end of the workshop!

When: Weekdays from June 27 to July 15, 9.30am – 3.30pm or 10am – 4pm (teens)
Where: Chatswood, Roseville, Killarney Heights and St Ives
Suitable for: 5-17 years
Cost: $160 for 2-day K-2 workshops and $240 for 3-day Years 3 – 12 workshops
