This is a fun and exciting adventure experience that makes the perfect gift for Christmas or for any special occasion. You’ll get to spend some quality family time kayaking or canoeing on the pristine waters of the Barrington River that flows from the snow gum wetlands atop the world heritage-listed Barrington Tops wilderness area, in the mid north coast hinterland. If you’re a first timer or nature lover, you’ll love paddling past platypus habitat as bellbirds ring and water dragons watch you from the rocks. These self-guided tours start at Grade 1 which is flat ponds and moving water but we’ve also got some exciting white water rapids for those who want more personal and physical challenges.
We supply the canoe or kayak, paddle, helmet and personal floatation device. You should bring paddling clothes (eg. wet suit or rash vest and boardies), enclosed non-slip shoes, drinking water, sunscreen, towel and a change of dry clothes for after the paddle.
