Our Curriculum

All our programs are designed and prepared by professional, highly qualified teachers with experience in art, education and professional artist’s practice. Our children’s classes are also kept small, with no more than 12 students per. teacher, to ensure that your child receives personal support and attention.

Our Teachers

The Arts Emporium teachers are chosen for their love of children, teaching and art. Our teachers are highly creative and often practising professional artists in their own right, so they are able to share their own first hand knowledge and experience in art. All our teachers have current police and working with children checks.

Children’s Classes – Ages 5 to 12

The Arts Emporium Children’s Classes teach both art and craft to ensure as to ensure children receive a comprehensive arts education that will provide a vast range of knowledge and skills for life. Our programs develop complex skills and learning across a vast array of art medium and subject matter in a fun, absorbing and pleasurable way. Students also learn the good practices and skills of artisans in every medium including use and care of art materials.

Teenage Classes & HSC Tutoring

The Arts Emporium has classes just for teenagers! Our classes can be an essential creative outlet for teens and a great way to support their school studies in visual arts. The Arts Emporium is also available to provide tutoring and assistance to prepare students for senior exams or tertiary/portfolio preparation, with past students having been successfully selected for the highly competitive ‘Art Express’ exhibition.

Holiday Art & Workshops

The Arts Emporium also holds art Workshops and Holiday Art activties for chidlren and teenagers. This not only allows students to explore new medium and have fun during their holiday, it is also a great way for parents to take a break as well!

Children’s Art Parties

The Arts Emporium hosts the most fantastic art parties! They not only take the stress out of organising, they are the most unique, creative and memorable fun ever!
