Parents everywhere are discovering the benefits of learning to massage their baby together in a relaxed group atmosphere. Research shows that our earliest experiences with touch can influence every aspect of our lives. Nurturing touch (or lack of it) can influence the way we think, act, feel and relate to others.

The classes are held in small groups to ensure personalised attention. They operate for 60-90 minutes over 5 weekly classes designed to suit a variety of baby ages, group sizes etc. The sessions are supportive where you can share ideas and experiences, whilst having fun. Classes are held in Bondi Beach, Bondi Junction or we may come to you or your group. Our courses are researched based.

What age does my baby have to be? Best times are from birth to pre-crawling stage. However, it is never too late to begin. Contact me to discuss your situation.

Why attend a course?

The strokes and styles of massage which have been validated through research are easier to grasp when demonstrated by a trained instructor. Some of the skills and topics you will learn are stroke, pressure, a routine for colic, discussions on crying/release, benefits of massage, relaxation and parent empowerment.

About your IAIM Instructor

IAIM Instructors have completed an intensive instructor training course, practicum module and examination specifically designed by the International Association of Infant Massage (IAIM). This course has been tought in over 35 countries since its inception in 1982. 

Certified Infant Massage Instructor Melissa Hildage also practices Massage Therapy with a passion for Pregnancy massage, post natal Massage and beyond.  Melissa is based at Bondi Beach but is also at The Mama Club on Tuesdays.
