This program is suitable for children aged 18months – 5yrs

Gymnastics is a varied and diverse sport. The Hunter Sports Centre offers many programs catering for all ages, from the very young, to the young at heart.

Kindergym is one of the most unique programs and includes involvement of both the child and their adult caregiver. Kindergym provides a safe and exciting indoor adventure playground that stimulates the child’s mind and body through playful physical activities. Not only will your child learn to enjoy exercise and movement they will also develop coordination, gross motor skills, balance and body awareness at the same time as making new friends.

Each class runs for 1hour and is broken into 3 key areas, Exploration, Participation and Activity.

Class Times

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

9.30am , 10.30am or 11.30am

Fees and Charges

Annual Registration Fee: $70 (includes a special T-Shirt) (This fee is reduced to $25 for Term 4)

Class Fee: $14.50per class or $130.50 for a 10 week term (discounts apply for 2nd and 3rd child)

A non-refundable deposit on your first week to book in. Deposits are equivalent to 2 class fee if paying by the week which covers your first and last lesson or a $20 deposit off term fee.

The Hunter Sports Centre requires you to attend on a regular basis which is classified as one class every two weeks, if you miss two weeks in a row you are required to pay the equivalent to one class for every two weeks missed

Progression

When children reach 4 years of age, we encouraged you consider our Parent & Child Junior Gym Program that will extend your child further physically and prepare them for group participation at school.

Bookings are essential for all programs, please contact reception (02 4953 6366) to confirm your booking or for further information regarding our Gymnastics programs.
