We also hold Children’s Art Parties hosted by our artist party hosts that include fun art and party activities over a special 2 hours on Saturdays and Sundays and you can choose your own party theme from Princess to Pirate.

Our two Art Factory exhibition spaces are speciifically curated with artworks, some interactive, that challenge, engage and stimulate our younger gallery visitors and duringschool term we offer one-two hour workshops to school and pre-school groups of children at minimal cost.

Right now our Term 4 2012 program that runs for 8 weeks during each school term for children includes:

Art Tuesdays and NOW due to popular demand Art WEDNESDAYS

For creative 6-12 year olds (8 weeks) Tuesday afternoons, 4.00pm – 5.30pm

Baby Art Time
Tuesday Mornings 10.30 am – 11am

A class for bubs and carers, this class is a fun way to introduce tiny ones to the art gallery.
Pipsqueak! With Mary and Joy

Wednesday 2 -3 year olds 10.30 – 11.30 am

Thursday 3 – 5 year olds 10.30 – 11.30 am

Pipsqueak ! is a fantastic art program for little ones and their carers. Look at art, play games, sing songs, read books and make works of art, all inspired by the current exhibitions from across the gallery.

Free Art Sundays
For children of all ages and their families
11:00am – 1:00pm every Sunday
Every Sunday MRAG invites families to drop into the art gallery for free art activities inspired by the exhibitions on display.
Our activities are designed for kids of all ages, and as a family you can either simplify or elaborate on the activity which on average,
takes around half an hour to complete. While you are here, you can also have a look at the Art Factory’s current exhibition and interactive art space.
