the Canowindra Sports Complex on Rodd Street, comes alive with a fantastic Family Friendly Night Market offering a huge range of food and wine showing off the best Canowindra has to offer.
With lots of room, plenty of food & wine choice with local dance and performance groups to entertain you, it is the start of a perfect family night out.

At 7pm the “Balloon Glow” gets underway with a parade of 15 balloonists on their trailers circling the grounds and with burners at full blast. The balloonists and their crews display their skills and quickly inflate the balloons and the real show begins. The 15 balloons are inflated but tethered in a semi circle to ensure the spectators get a great view.

With these huge brightly coloured balloons inflated and light from inside they light up the sky and put on a display that only hot air balloons can provide.

2013 sees the introduction of a special area adjoining the Balloon Display set aside for disabled spectators, with easy parking and an unobstructed view. Entry will be off Tilga Street opposite Bryton Wool.
