The St Nicholas Choir exists to develop the love of singing in children ages 8-14, improve vocal ability and general music appreciation and comprehension. Enthusiastic singers and musicians receive expert tuition from professional musicians in a safe and fun environment.
Singing a choir at a young age is not only beneficial for music education, but can also develop a child’s self-confidence and provides a great environment for social and academic development. It is also a great way to meet new friends who share your child’s love of music and singing.
Rehearsals take place on Friday afternoons (4-5pm) at Christ Church Cathedral during school terms, and the children perform on average once a month, generally on Saturday evenings.
