CLASSIC YASS had its origin in 2009 when three seperate events – the YASSarts Arts Trail, Celebration of Heritage Motoring and the Red Cross Open Gardens – decided to pool their resources and create one big event ranging over the entire Yass Valley Shire.
In 2010 the Rotary Club of Yass came on board by staging the inaugural Rotary Billy Cart Derby and CLASSIC YASS was born!

CLASSIC YASS is staged annually on the first weekend of November and just keeps getting better and better. It’s a true celebration of a country community and is a weekend not to be missed! CLASSIC YASS is convened by the Yass Chamber of Commerce and proudly supported by Yass Valley Council and the Yass Valley Development Corporation.
