Presented by the Conservatorium Mid North Coast, the week long creative arts school is aimed at giving children (years 3 – 6) the opportunity to be involved in having fun with visual arts, music and drama, in an encouraging environment and outside of the school setting.

Classes are progressive throughout the week and will be topped of with a performance from the drama and music streams as well as an exhibition of art works.

Visual Arts

The Visual Arts program will provide fun and engaging activities including painting, drawing, printmaking, clay sculpture and a big bubble blower! Students should bring an old shirt or apron to wear over their clothes and a white t-shirt to do their printmaking on. All other supplies and materials will be provided.​

Drama

with Bianca

Learn and play fun drama games which develop improvisation and acting skills and additionally build performance confidence. Develop a short group play to perform on the final day. Students will also experience scriptwriting, playbuilding, improvisation and performance. Whether experienced in drama or a novice.

Music

with Kate

The music sessions are based on the Kodaly method of music and focused on using the voice as your instrument. Students will learn about beat, rhythm, music literacy, how to develop their aural skills as well as being part of a choir, and will showcase their works at an end of week concert.
