Display gardens, walking tracks, picnic and barbeque facilities, a Visitors Centre including the Garden” Herbarium, and a Café are some of the features to be found in the Gardens complex.
The Café is operated under licence from Eurobodalla Shire Counci, which operates the Gardens as a community facility. The Café has a separate phone number, 4471 2400, and usually opens at 10am. Bookings for groups are advisable..
Children’s puzzles are great fun for families, and the IMB Children’s Walk which asks ‘Which animal lives here?’ is a delight. Ask the volunteer on duty at the Visitors Centre for your free copy of the activity/colouring booklet which goes with the Walk..
The Children’s Play Space is very popular. It has a mud brick cubby, a pod swing, a spinner, and musical instruments which are unique to the area. The Play Space is right next to the free barbecues, and to a grassed area for kicking a ball or flying a frisbee.
We ask people to take their rubbish with them, please.
