Ian Thorpe Aquatic and Fitness Centre is dedicated to bringing families together, providing a ‘third place’ away from the pressures of work and home where they can connect and be active together.

We recognise that families come in all shapes and sizes and are the building blocks of the local community. A strong family can come in many forms, and the positive impact on those around them can be profound. Through initiatives such as Family Membership, the whole Family can spend quality time together without financial burden.

Our industry leading Learn-to-Swim program is open to all ages and included with your Family Membership (one lesson per week for up to three participants). Providing more than just swimming lessons; our program ensures you and your children are water savvy for life and confident in and around the water.

As an added bonus, you will not only get access to Family programming at Ian Thorpe Aquatic and Fitness Centre, you will also get full access to Cook+Phillip Park Aquatic and Fitness Centre. Combined there has never been a better time to get started on a Family Membership.
