Glasshouse, Port Macquarie offers a wide range of activities for children throughout the year.

In the Glasshouse Regional Gallery there are free Kids Spot activity stations providing colouring-in and simple artistic activities. Families are always welcome in the Gallery and these stations provide an opportunity for children to create art while parents enjoy the exhibitions on display.

On the second Saturday of every month at 11am, there is a free Kids Spot workshop held in the Gallery space. This workshop is lead by trained artists and connects children with the Gallery exhibitions. This is a free event but bookings are required as it is a very popular event.

If your child loves history and a mystery hunt, the Glasshouse provides a free activity sheet called History Hunter. History Hunter leads the children through the Glasshouse heritage displays to find answers and complete activities – while learning more about the Glasshouse and the history of Port Macquarie. Once all activities are complete, they receive a stamp from the Glasshouse Box Office and can take home their History Hunter certificate.
