Go4 Fun is a 10 week program which runs once a week for 2 hours usually after school. The Go4Fun Program is a FREE, community, family-based program for families with children aged 7-13 who are above their healthy weight. This multi-disciplinary program combines all the elements known to be vital in treating and preventing overweight or obesity in children, including family involvement, practical education in nutrition and diet, increasing physical activity and behavioural change. With an emphasis on practical, fun learning, the program is designed to deliver sustained improvements in families’ diets, fitness levels and overall health.
The program is held at various venues across the Hunter based on need and demand.
