Our fabulous after school and Saturday morning drama classes help increase verbal communication skills, build confidence and self-esteem and provide the perfect outlet for creativity! Classes are held at six locations on the Central Coast including Terrigal, Berkeley Vale, Wyoming, Kanwal, Umina and Erina and are structured into age appropriate groups catering for children from 5 -17 years of age. Chlidren have fun with friends in a safe environment whilst giving themselves the opportunity to practice and develop into the best they can possibly be.

Children engage in a variety of drama related activities, including speech, movement, mime, improvisation, stagecraft skills, and scripted work for the older children. Term four is a performance term where all classes in the Academy work on a play that is then put on as a performance for friends and family to enjoy just before Christmas. A fabulous experience for them to be involved in!

Drama Holiday Workshops are regularly held for our primary aged students, which are open to non-Helen O’Grady students as well. A great way to get a taste for drama and see what it is all about! Master workshops for our High School students are scheduled throughout the year with topics covered such as mime, film and tv and masks.
