Infant Massage Classes
10 Carawa Road , Cromer NSW 2099
Description
Kerrin Booth’s Infant Massage classes are run on the Northern Beaches from Balgowlah, Mona Vale and also from Life Source in North Sydney. Kerrin is also available to teach in other locations and to groups of Mothers e.g. Mothers groups or groups of friends. Classes are small, with a limit of 8 babies. The focus of Infant Massage is bonding and communication between parent or caregiver and baby. Kerrin enjoys teaching Dads aswell as Mums, and certainly both are welcome on the course, as well as Grandparents or other caregivers. Infant Massage is a great bonding experience especially for Dads, and can be incorporated into their bath, massage, story, bed routine. There are 5 classes each lasting 1-1.5 hours, once a week for 5 weeks. The cost of the course is $200. It is best that babies come to class as early in life as possible, as infant massage is beneficial right from the start. Any time before 6 months old is great, as it gets a bit tricky in class once they are crawling. At the moment Kerrin is taking classes on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, evenings and weekends. Times are flexible, as it depends on the group and the age of the babies. Kerrin is also happy to give talks at Mothers groups etc. if you would like more information.
Kerrin Booth has been a Naturopath since 1992 and qualified as an infant massage instructor in 2010 when she was pregnant with her first child. She is passionate about the benefits of Infant Massage and has learnt from experience that it’s not just the massage strokes that you learn from infant massage classes, but even more importantly, bonding and communication with your baby.
