Always wanted to form a band, but not sure where to start? Our week-long holiday workshop will have you starting a band with other young rockers your own age who share your musical interests, and gaining insight into the inner workings of setting up and performing with a live band. You’ll receive focused, professional tuition on playing music, and learn the skills of on-stage sound management and performance. October 2015 includes song-writing and stage craft workshops.

Enjoy daily jam sessions as you workshop your songs for the two live performance opportunities: a showcase concert for family and friends at CIT Woden on the Friday night, followed by a performance to the crowds of the the Floriade Festival on Saturday 3rd October!

WHEN: Tuesday 29th September – Friday 2nd October, 9am-4pm daily, final performance 5:30pm Friday 2nd October. Floriade Festival performance Saturday 3rd October 2015.
WHERE: CIT Woden campus, Music department (160 Ainsworth St, Phillip)

Please note, participants must be available for all dates so complete bands can perform both shows.
Participants will also take away photos and audio recordings to start (or add to) their music portfolio!
