Milparinka Heritage Precinct Holiday Activities

Description

Milparinka is a heritage community in the far north west of the Corner Country. Its unique heritage precinct comprises a restored courthouse and police station into which years of family and local history research has come together to form displays which intrepret an amazing time in the region’s heritage. During the school holidays activities are in place for young people ( and young at heart) to learn more about our Indigenous heritage, ming techniques, rocks, explorers and things that move and grow. There are parks and benches for lunch breaks, and a walking trail to follow to further explore this old town. Its a community well worth visiting. Take the time to take the kids back to a different time and place as they travel through the outback.
