The Newcastle Museum collects and shared objects and stories, bringing to life significant moments of post, present and future.

We are open 10am – 5pm (except for Good Friday and Christmas Day). You will need to visit our website for details at www.newcastlemuseum.com.au for details about opening hours during the school holidays.

It is free entry at the Museum except for some travelling exhibitions which may incur an entrance fee. We bring the best exhibitions to Newcastle.

We have a special play and learn area for the littlies in Mininova. And for the more inquisitive, we have the Supernova interactive exhibits to touch and explore.

The Museum has a cafe with delicious treats and meals available during opening hours.
