Learning to surf is fun for all ages. Port Macquarie Surf School is a Licensed Surfing Australia surf school.

Inclusive in the cost of each lesson is the hire of all equipment – softboards, wetsuits and rash shirts. Learn To Surf lessons are held in the white water only. Lessons are held in the rain – the children are going to get wet anyway!

Lessons run for 2 hours and are held from sun up to sunset. Children get plenty of hands on help in a safety conscious environment which enables them to build confidence in the water.

We will teach your child:-

Surf safety and surf awareness
Basic fitness for surfing
Paddling and standing
Catching waves

Port Macquarie Surf School has many programs to offer children and their families. Some of which include:

Lessons held daily throughout the entire year. Group lessons are a great way to children get up and onto their first waves and a great place to meet new people.
3 lesson packages
5 Day Comprehensive Clinics. These programs are held during the school holidays. Your children learn all the ins and outs of surfing, surf safety and surf awareness with 5 x 2 hour surf lessons.
Birthday Parties. A great way to entertain the children for their birthday. Sit back and relax – you deserve it. We look after the children in the water teaching them to surf. All children love our birthday parties and they’ll love you even more for organising it.
After School Surfing Program. We pick up from school, provide afternoon tea and a 1.5 hr surf lesson for 1 afternoon each week for the term. A great after school activity.
Vegemite Surf Grom Programs. A national based program designed for children between the ages of 5 & 12. For more information, visit www.surfgroms.com
Family Packages. A great family holiday is not complete without surfing together. Ask us about our discount for a family of 4 or more.
Intermediate and High Performance programs are also available

We care about your childs surfing progress and offer tailored individual programs to suit all ages and abilities. Learn to surf on the picturesque beaches of Port Macquarie/Camden Haven, with a beginner ratio of 5:1. We’ll have them up and surfing in no time at all!!

And remember surfing is not just for the kids. You can join in with them too!!!
