Southern Sydney Multiple Birth Association

Description

SSMBA is one of the largest multiple birth associations in Sydney, our geographical area covering the Sutherland Shire and St. George, Padstow, Milperra, Liverpool and Macarthur regions.

Fortnightly mothers groups and play dates are held across these areas, meaning that there is often one or two get togethers per week. Members are welcome to attend as many play dates as they wish and siblings are encouraged to come along as well. All details of playdates are listed in our monthly newsletter, ‘Multiple Messages’, an outstanding resource which contains articles, stories, photographs, birthday messages and more to celebrate our members and their multiple adventures!

SSMBA also offers a number of valuable services to its members, including access to our ‘Multiple Hands’ Buddy Program, ‘Parenting with Multiples in Mind’ courses and ‘Expectant Parents’ information nights. Our association also runs a series of events throughout the year such as our family picnic, fun day, disco and Christmas party. Most importantly, we also celebrate the wonderful work of our Parents and Carers at such events as our ‘Coffee & Cocktails’ evenings, various parents nights out and our highly anticipated ‘New Mum’s Lunch’..

Membership to our club will give you access to all our outstanding programs and services, as well as our private Facebook groups. Our members are very thankful for the ability to make contact with others experiencing the same ‘multiple’ challenges – not only at our various events but also around the clock via social networking. Reading advice, offering support, sourcing pre-loved goods and sharing your experience also makes for great reading during the sleepless nights which tend to haunt parents of multiples!
