The Common Park is ideally situated in a central location between The National Parks & Wildlife Office and The Oberon Visitor Information Centre on the corner of Ross Street and Edith Road.  The park features a rotunda overlooking a water feature, which is home to a large number of bird species including water fowl. 

Home of a large number of bird species Council is currently expanding the existing facilities at The Common to include a series of water features and wetlands.  Additional toilet and parking facilities, as well as walking and cycling trails will also be constructed as part of the expansion.
