Jump Jump Star with The Fairies in Port Macquarie!

For immediate release – August 14 2014

‘Jump Jump Star’ is the brand new live show from much-loved Australian children’s entertainment phenomenon, The Fairies! The show will make its Port Macquarie debut on Sunday, October 12 at 11am at The Glasshouse!

‘Jump Jump Star’ has children singing and dancing from the very first sparkle of glitter and the fun, music and magic is boundless for the hour-long performance. Best fairy friends Harmony & Rhapsody stretch their wings and warm up their wands as they show Barnaby, Elf and Wizzy just what it takes to be a real true fairy, with a bit of wonky magic from their Wizardly friend as he tries to ‘magic’ Elf some real fairy wings!

The comedy between the Elf, Bee and Wizard is hilarious as Wizzy’s spells take a turn for the worse, and Harmony and Rhapsody must bring their reversing spell to the ttpstage to make sure Elf is brought ‘back to normal’!

Brand new songs including ‘Fairy Hi’, ‘Dancing Fairy’ and ‘Real True Fairy’ have been embraced by young and old, and the appearance of a surprise friend when Wizzy’s magic goes wonky has had our young audience giggling for days!

The Fairies are classically trained ballet dances, and their “en pointe” ballet medley is truly beautiful, while Elf the Fairy Cake Maker has traversed the world dancing for the likes of Kesha and many other famous performers, and as he choreographed the whole show, has made sure the dancing is simple enough for children to dance along with, while so spectacular the audience is left marveling at how great Fairyland dancers really are!

The Fairies brand was created in Adelaide in 1996 by mother of three, Jen Watts, and with 78 episodes broadcast on Channel 7, became one of the most recognized children’s entertainment acts in Australia. With 11 DVDs, 9 music CDs (3 ARIA nominated for Best Children’s Album) and an extensive range of merchandise, The Fairies has world-class values while remaining truly Australian.
