Description

When visiting Wellington and Central NSW, you can’t go past a trip to the world-famous Wellington Caves.

Located just eight kilometres south of town, visitors can take the opportunity to be amazed by the magnificent “Altar’ in the Cathedral Cave, marvel at the beauty of the coral in the Gaden Cave or discover the history behind the Phosphate Mine. 

While at the caves, you can also search for fossils on the fossil trail, visit the information centre or look at the house made from more than 9000 bottles.

A kiosk and barbecue area is also on-site, while across the road are the lovely Japanese Gardens.

The Wellington Caves is open every day except Christmas with tours operating between 9am and 5pm.
