Description
Young ICT Explorers is an open School Technology Challenge for Year 3-12 ACT students to create and showcase innovative ICT projects. Participation is free and entrants could win great prizes and receive acclaim from academic and industry leaders.

Young ICT Explorers encourages students to develop technology projects and share their creative ideas in a structured environment, supported by their schools. Students and teachers can work together to align potential entries with the school curriculum, enabling them to apply what they’ve learned in the classroom to the competition project.
Students can compete individually or in teams of up to four students across five age groupings.
Key Dates 2015:
February 2nd – Registrations opened for 2015
26th June –bSchools to be registered for the events through our website.
31st July – ACT Projects to be Submitted in the registration system
July – August – Schools notified if projects make it through to the Judging events.
September 12th – YICTE Judging Event, Australian National University, ACT
Teachers must register their schools via our registration tool on the website by June 26. Any school is eligible to register and take part. Participation is free.
